I recently bought this from echo008. Here is his original description: "...MIJ Fiesta Red P bass, This is a 57 MIJ reissue. It is clean and sounds great, currently wearing a set of flats (I think they are fenders)... on my bathroom scale I get 8.4 lbs. (it does feel very light) also worth mentioning the fret ends need to be filed, They are a bit sharp, you can play it fine but eventually it should be done...there is a little crack in the paint right by the neck pocket..." My updates and corrections: The actual weight is 8.9lbs. I had the fret ends filed so that is not an issue. You can see the little semi circular crack in the paint at the heel of the neck pocket. There are a few light scratches around the bridge but I couldn't get them to show in the pics. echo008 included the bridge cover but there are no screw holes and I wasn't going to make them. I'll include the cover so you can install it, or not, any way you like. Its currently strung with a new set of Dunlop Nickel Plated round wounds, 45-105, but I still have the flats that came on the bass and will include them. There's no case or gig bag but the bass will be packed carefully and insured. Asking $500 shipped CONUS. This is one of the nicest vintage style P basses I have ever played including MIA's. So why am I selling it you might ask? For a significantly more expensive and prettier, IMHO, Fender Select P. More pics available on request. Thanks for looking.
