FS - Fender Highway One Jazz with Super 55's and case - $625 shipped CONUS

Discussion in 'For Sale: Bass Guitars' started by tony moore, Jan 18, 2014.

  1. Turns out I try to make every bass sound like a pbass, so why fight it?

This is the USA made 60th anniversary edition Highway One with the posiflex graphite supported neck. Weighs about 9 lbs.

The pickups have been upgraded to Fender Super 55 split coils and sound great with no hum. I think these sound more like single coils than the Nordstrands I used to use. Very lively and dynamic with good growl and bite. I also installed a new Fender vintage style threaded saddle bridge and a 3 ply tort guard.

This bass plays, sounds and looks great with no issues. It's been setup with medium action with no buzzes and the frets have been recently dressed. The action could be set lower if desired.

A hard case is also included.

    $625 shipped CONUS. PayPal preferred.

    Thanks for looking!

    Great one.

I'm wondering what kind or brand of hard case are u including. Can u send pics..?

Are u accepting 550 PayPal shipping to Miami ?
  4. the case looks just like this one:

i'll take a pic of the real thing tomorrow...

please pm me about pricing. thanks!
  5. Aren't the necks on these really slim, similar to Geddy neck? If that case is made by G&G, its a real good one! I'd go after that deal if I had the cash. GLWTS!
  6. i've not a owned a geddy, so i can't speak to that. the width at the nut is like most modern pbasses, 1.625", and it is slim front to back.

    hope this helps,

  7. Congrats to you and the lucky new owner...
