    Look at the headstock pics - Made in Mexico and the serial number are plainly visible.

    Yeah, they are all $599-$799 on eBay, and you can't even buy the super rare and cool Daphne Blue!

    See that images on Fender website shows precision pickups to be reversed, your bass has them in the standard layout. Is this how they came on the earlier models?

    Yes. They got rid of the best color and effed the pickup up in the current version. This is the original.
