Looking to sell my 1977 Bicentennial Thunderbird.

This is an incredible sounding bass (nothing I've ever encountered sounds quite like it), I am just exclusively using 5s these days so would like to see it go somewhere where it will be used.

It has had the headstock broken in the past but it has been neatly and strongly repaired by Mas Hino here in NYC.

Everything on this bass is all original and it comes with the OHSC (but the case is very beat up).

On account of the headstock repair, I am asking a players price for this of $1,700 (note there are some with the same repair for nearly $3k!!). I'm gonna keep this local (NYC area) for now, as I really don't want to ship this.

Trade interest is pretty much limited to Sadowsky 5s, or maybe a Mike Lull 5 - I can add cash to even up any deal.

BUMP I bought a black one new in 77 as my weapon of choice in the War on Disco.

These are near exact replica's of the original unlike anything made in the recent past.

Bump because I remember the new Bicentennial Thunderbird being my favorite bass at Brian Guitars back in the day. Alas this poor high schooler at the time, didn't have quag.
