Up for grabs is a wonderful 1990 Ken Smith Burner 4-string in transparent red. (The grain shows through better in person.) The bass is a player. The body shows many small dings, scratches, and fingernail marks. The "Ken Smith" logo on the pickups is very worn, as pictured. The neck is in great shape with lots of life left in the frets. No dings on the neck, just some light finish crazing on the edge of the fretboard from age. It is all original with the exception of the input jack which I just had replaced. Pickups and preamp are original. This bass is an amazing player and has great low action with light gauge D'Addarios at the moment. This is one of the best basses for slapping that I have ever played and has INCREDIBLE tone. On that note, check out a demo that the previous owner did of this exact bass right here. Selling because I found another great Smith right after I got this one, and three is a crowd to me. Asking $800 shipped to CONUS. Will consider partial trades for a Pope, Smith BT, Glockenklang, or Lane Poor 3-band onboard preamp, or a Schroeder 15" 8ohm cabinet.
