This was the golden age of Fender's American Deluxe IMO. Super rare blueburst with maple board and orig aged pearl pg. 9v active
pre, Dlx tuners, string-thru Amer Dlx bridge etc. The orig Dlx HS case is blue-lined, blue label with luggage latches, clean and solid and includes orig candy. I believe Elderly Instruments did a fret level, as they show no wear. Setup beautifully with a new set of Cirrus strings.

Now it's a 1997, all original, so there is some minor rust pitting on the hardware, and the usual swirls and light scratches from normal play wear but nothing bad or ugly. This a clean and well-kept classic Amer Dlx P bass. A blue-eyed blonde that sounds as good as it looks! These had the carbon rods, so the neck is very stable. I loved the color scheme and bought it as an investment a couple years ago and I believe I am the 2nd owner. It has never left my home studio since arriving.

I just don't play anything but passive anymore and she needs to be played and appreciated. Only trade interest (I can think of) would be for an AVRI P, or such, with a maple board, but would prefer an outright sale. Let's say $849 SHIPPED to cont USA. You won't be disappointed.

I'd put a bypass switch on this beauty and keep on :bassist:

The aged guard is gorgeous and accents the maple nicely. Transparent blues rock...GLWYS!

I noticed that no one has asked about the weight (yet!) ;)
