    Hi All,
Its time to let this go, its absolutely in mint condition, I am the second owner. I took this is part trade about a year ago for my MTD 535. I didn't think it would sit in the case but it has and now I am gassing for a Lull PJ5-24 so the Jazz is for sale. No scratches, no dings, even the pick guard still has the plastic on it. In the interest of full disclosure, there are faint lines in the paint from where the rear chrome cover sits but they are not too noticeable. I tried to get these in the pictures but they didn't show up well. I read in the "50th anniversary jazz" club here at TB that is common with these since they are shipped with the covers in place. I guess there were 500 of these made.

I am gun-shy of trading I should tell you up front but its possible in the right circumstances. As I said above, I am looking for a Lull PJ5-24 (34") or Sadowsky Metro PJ5 both in the 8 to 8.5 lb. range.

    Stats:

Nitrocellulose Lacquer Finish, Candy Apple Red (including headstock.)
    60's headstock logo
62 reissue neck profile with nitro glossed neck-back.
Rosewood fingerboard with pearl block markers.
    50th Anniversary neck plate
    75 Reissue pickups.
    70's pickup spacing.
Vintage High Mass bridge with through body stringing.
Volume 1 (Neck Pickup), Volume 2 (Bridge Pickup), Master Tone
    Chrome covers.
American Vintage series hardshell case in black with black interior.
    34" scale - 20 frets.
    1.50" Nut Width
    9 lbs.

I gigged one of these extensively for over a year. Absolutely killer basses. Much better tone than any American Standard I have owned. They also look amazing on stage... Lots of comments from fellow bassists as they are super rare.

    GLWTS...

My main bass is one of these (jealous of the darker rosewood board on this one). Awesome bass - buy and slap some Labella Deep Talkin' flats on it and enjoy! ttt
