Not using this much, but it is an incredible octave pedal. Most musical one I've ever used. Truly gives off an analog octave sound instead of the digital style ones of stuff made today.

I don't use it enough and would rather have the cash at the moment for other things.

The only trade I would really want is for a Foxrox Octron 2, as that is my other favorite octave pedal, but I've never actually owned one of those.

This is a super clean pedal that shows no signs of wear. Has hook side of Velcro on bottom, but I can take that off. This is as close to new as a discontinued pedal can be.

    Made in USA.

$275 OBO shipped to lower 48 USA

    Paypal only.

    From Ampeg's website:

The AMPEG Scrambler Series SUB-BLASTER octave divider is easy to use, accurate and quick in its tracking, and very musical. This unique octave divider is an analog circuit upgraded from the one used in the popular SVT-5 Pro amplifier head. The SUB-BLASTER features a rugged die-cast metal housing for rock-solid durability. This design is based on the original Ampeg Scrambler overdrive pedal from 1969 and is very road worthy.

This pedal rules! It's nearly as smooth as a POG, which is rare in an analog octaver. Any glitching that occurs is much less noticeable than in an OC-2 (or pretty much any other analog octave divider). However, it still sounds analog (not too clean and digital like the POG). "Girthy" is the best description I can think of. Super deep and ballsy, not synthy at all.

Also, someone posted a tutorial around here somewhere explaining how to add an LED to this pedal. I followed the instructions and did the same; super easy, and a big improvement.

Long story short, you should buy this! It's the greatest one-octave-down pedal I've ever heard.

    Couldn't agree more...

I thought about adding the LED as well...just never got around to it. If I end up hanging on to it, I may do that.

Sounds absolutely insanely huge with my modded Russian Big Muff.
