FS/FT FEELER: Carvin LB76F (Six String Lined Fretless) EMG Pups/Elec. w/ OHSC

    Considering thinning the herd a bit. I've been playing guitar a lot more lately and I need a fretted workhorse bass for recording.

    TRADES:
    • This is probably a super long shot but.. I'm fawning over the Ibanez Artcore Expressionist AFJ957 7-String Guitar. If this bass goes for cash I'll most likely buy one of them.
    • Warwick (any)
    I can supply cash on my end or you can throw some cash at me if you have something low end. I'm not being too picky.

    Here's the skinny on the Carvin:
    • Serial: 62903
    • Just swapped all hardware from gold to black less than 4 months ago and upgraded from a B style Bridge to and A style (about $250 in brand new hardware)
    • Two EMG pups w/ EMG 9v preamp
    • Kill switch installed
    • 2 Small plugged holes from previous owner for a piezo upgrade
    • Fret board is in good shape (considering an epoxy upgrade if I keep it)
    • Currently strung with La Bella's
    • Players condition 9/10 (edit: Upped the condition to a 9. Aside from the two tiny piezo holes and the fact that it needs a polish.. It's pretty much perfect.)

    Are those nylon coated strings It is hard to tell from the pictures.

    Is the piezo pickup still there?

    They're the Black Nylon Tape Wounds La Bella makes. There was never a piezo installed. The previous owner ordered the wrong sized 'B' style saddles and gave up. (I still have the saddles but, they're useless to me. Especially since I put an 'A' style bridge on) He drilled a tiny hole over to the cavity for the saddles and a hole for the blend control. Both hole have a black plastic plug in them. I'll get some pics up later of it.

    All Carvin LB basses are 34" I believe. That's a slick bass. I was really hoping for a fretted Warwick but I could be persuaded. Whats the condition like?

    I had a Lined Fretless Carvin. It took 10 minutes to make the "Adjustment" to fretless. Those Lines are Magic! :smug:

    It really is a no brainer.. I had an unlined Carvin before this one and even that wasnt too tough. It's great for ear training. But you're right, the lined fingerboard makes it a walk in the park.
