    Lowered Price!!! $750 NEW PICS!
    NEW Sound Example: HERE
    "R" Series Marcus Miller Signature 4, CIJ/MIJ!
    Stunning, excellent condition!!!
    Sadowsky engineered preamp!
    2004 model (R=2004)
This MM Jazz weighs in at nice 9.0lbs even.

Just set-up and tweaked for fingerstyle play with 1mm action across the board @ 12th fret.
1.5mm on E string, (only because of a heavy hand).
Body is a 9/10 (some scratches above bridge, see pic)
Frets are a 9/10 (very little wear first 4)
Neck & back of neck is perfect (but for one small blemish by binding.)
Without a doubt, THE BEST Fender I've owned.
Awesome set-up, playability and tone with EB 100's
New Black PG screws (have originals also).
Missing one chrome Knob. (Replaced w/a standard jazz knob).

Sale: [DEL]$875[/DEL] [DEL]$799[/DEL] $750 shipped to USA only. That's as far down as I will go.
    Includes Original Fender hard case.

    NEW Sound Example: HERE

Fender Jazz bodies have always been slightly bigger than I like. So trades should be of a smaller size body w/thin necks.

    Trade interests:
    Spector
    Warwick
    Lakland DJ
    Spector Rebop
    Peavey US Millennium Plus
    G&L JB-2 USA or Tribute
Throw any offer by me. I'm quite flexible and interested in a similar aggressive jazz tone.
    PM offers PLEASE.

Ok. Now that technology has come so far were allowed to really hear a bassline on recordings from our favorite artists in software/headphones.
I've always wanted that Grindy, Punchy, "In your face" tone that I couldn't seem to find in all my other basses. (Think Robert DeLeo on "HERE" for a fine grindy/punchy example..)
STP's "Core" was recorded with a Jazz-type bass prototype version of his Schecter Model-T bass

    EXCELLENT NEW Sound Example: HERE

I haven't had a Good, Pro level Jazz in a long time. With that being said, WOW, this Fender MIJ MM-4 bass really Nails alot of recordings.

I NEED a smaller body. WHERE or WHAT bass can get this tone besides a full-bodied Jazz?

    ...Thanks.

You want a Lakland DJ4 with an audere pre, thats what i got and it nails everything from great slap to in your face grind like the spectors give you on Queensrych. And it has the smaller body and 22 frets. Perfect mix IMHO. And no you cant have mine!

I think something needs to be addressed here about the MM Bass... I had a potential buyer say:

Lacking Mids? It's there just like any other jazz! In fact I can't get ANY of my other basses somewhat close to this tone. No matter what I do with the preamp. I guess it's all in the "ear" of the beholder... ;)

I would not classify the Marcus a mid heavy bass, scooped actually.
