    For Sale or Trade: My natural blonde Gary Willis Signature GWB2 in super shape. Electronics are solid, no issues, truss rod fully functional, buttery fretboard and neck, and it easily sets up with super-low Willis action if you want it (I have it slightly raised at the moment). The ramp was not installed while I owned it, and is included. Will throw in a set of strap-loks if you want them.
    I've owned this bass for two years--I purchased it from another TB-er (original thread here: http://www.talkbass.com/forum/f126/fs-ibanez-gwb2-mij-gary-willis-fretted-5-string-846586/), and the few times I used it, I loved it. I received kudos from my jazz instructors on the tone I was able to dial-in on both this and the GWB1 I recently traded. But I'm just not playing it; I'm playing upright in a bluegrass band and getting back into old jazz and blues (and a little punk rock) with my 4-strings, and she just sits there, looking morose. She needs a home.
    The market sets the value, of course, but I got a great price on it, so I'm passing it on: $1,000 shipped CONUS
    No case; it will be packed and shipped securely and professionally. PayPal accepted.
    Serious trade interest:
    * Passive, 4-string basses. 1.5" nut (or less?) preferable
    * Semi-hollowbody basses
    * Aguilar 112
    * Aguilar Tonehammer Amp
    Open to plus or minus cash on either end!

    Does it have the ramp on it? Or come with it?

    Ramp is included but not installed. The original ramp versions of the GWB1 & GWB2 (which this is) came with double-sided foam rubber tapes--the later versions used screws. The ramp will be sent with the bass. It's pristine.

    Bump for a really memorable 5-string.

    I was the previous owner and this bass is on my "Why did I sell that?" list.

    I'm a 4-string player at heart... but the 19th time is the charm when moving to 5-strings!

    Looking to see if the "God's of GAS" are smiling on my Paypal account: 0

    Thanks for the bump, Dave! I've been very proud to own this axe.
    Of course, just this minute I'm getting ready to open a pack of charts for an upcoming musical (Smokey Joe's Cafe, with a local repertory theater)--hoping I don't find any notes lower than an E written on them! Otherwise I'll be forced to invest some proceeds in a hipshot bass xtender...

    The Idiot's Guide to French Verbs? Seriously? :D

    But seriously, that is a cool-ass bass. I didn't even know there was a fretted model. Great deal too.

    At the moment, I'm also including a shorter custom ebony ramp that "leaves plenty of room for slapping n' popping if you are so inclined," as the previous owner pointed out.
    The ebony is currently slated to become sawdust for another project next weekend (slot filler on a short scale fretless I'm putting together), but if it sells before that, it can be included if the new owner would like it.

    Will respond to any reasonable cash offers this week (also, trade offers off the table until next weekend).

    Going to pack it up professionally this weekend so that it's ready to go when some lucky soul buys her! Might be able to find a gig bag or an inexpensive case around here SOMEWHERE...

    Wwolof - your post just cleared up what I thought was the strangest post ever, from factorplayer!
    (Those are my SO's books. She aced French. I barely made it through Spanish.)
    All is right with the world. And next time I take pictures in front of the bookcase, I'll definitely make sure it's stacked with intriguing material! Excellent.
