ironwood with an ebony frog, meat-cleaver head with a open-style frog.
    735mm length, 110g weight.
Will trade up to a nicer French bow.

The prior owner said he used it during his studies at Julliard in the early 2000s, so over a decade is my best guess.

Could you measure from end of frogto top of stick? In other words, the widest or tallest dimension?
    Thanks

ImageUploadedByTalkBass1375042247.554372.jpg overall bow length is a hair under 73cm, and the effective bowing distance(I hereby dub the EBD) is a smudge over 58cm ImageUploadedByTalkBass1375042361.362911.jpg

Maybe what I'm asking is the height of the frog? If you put on table with hair down, what is distance at fattest part of the frog to the top of the stick?
    Thanks

Is there an actual price you're asking for the bow, or just trade? Thanks

This bow has been on eBay for months, It hasn't sold and I've seen the price go up and down... It was a little sketchy because it has no place of origin or maker (and the square tip...) but for a reference for price here is the it is:http://www.ebay.com/itm/Vintage-Iro...890?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item25963fd5f2
