I believe these were the 2012 release limited editions. Three tone brown sunburst with a flame maple top over ash body. A beautiful bass and it's in mint condition. Lakland pickups and electronics. Comes in a nice padded gig bag. Also throwing in a three pack of brand new Carvin nickel strings, made by Labella. Currently strung with Lakland nickels. I'm just not a 5-string guy, though the low B on this bass is a beast. $1150 shipped conus OBO.

Also open to trades/partial trades. Mostly interested in a Fender Am Std Jazz bass of recent model year (post 2008). ImageUploadedByTalkBass1386442409.810100.jpg ImageUploadedByTalkBass1386442423.358843.jpg ImageUploadedByTalkBass1386442433.208672.jpg

Hey, I'm a new member but been searching the forum for a couple months for a 5 string after a bass buddy introduced the site to me. Still need to get a photo up on my profile. BUT I am interested in this bass! How thick is the girth of the neck compared to the Lakland 44-02 (4 string)????

    These are excellent looking basses!

If you want a bass with a lot of tonal variety, a 55-02 is it...

I'm not super familiar with the 44-02 necks. I think the profile and spacing are great but will have to confirm what they are. I feel it as a little flat and wide. Super easy to play. I had a 5 string fender before this and I much prefer this neck (35" scale being the most obvious differences). I also LOVE the tiny size vintage style frets that Lakland uses.

Bump. Maybe a stretch but I would take an A-Designs REDDI as a partial trade as well.

Just under 10lbs. At first I thought that would be heavy but the bass balances really well and four hour gigs didn't bother me at all.
