    Recent holiday impulse buy, really not quite my thing but wanted to give it a try. This is a very rare Steve Azola Nouveau prototype

    Here are specs...plays and sounds beautiful and in great shape 9+ out of 10.

    I had an Azola Scarab EUB for several years, purchased new from Steve. First class workmanship and great player. Sorry I sold it (here on TB) a while back. Too bad Steve got out of the luthier business (at least too bad for us). GLWTS!

    Ain't that the truth. I've had a couple of Steve's basses and both were outstanding....real player's instruments.
