Up for sale is my new Schecter Diamond P4 Active. This is a brand new bass with the plastic still on the guard and battery cover. It has gotten maybe about 8 hours playing time in the almost 6 weeks I've had it, and being a P, I thought this had the wider nut, but it is jazz width, which is simply too small for me, so off she goes. It's OK though, because I am gassing for a 5 string again. :bassist:

The EMG pre in this bass is one of the best I've played with. It has a very tight bandwidth filter and is very responsive. There is no bleed from the bass or treble controls into the mid range. Knobs have a center detent. I was able to get very nice funk tones from this bass, especially with mids boosted and it would also be a great bass for rock or metal, and nice black satin finish, which I prefer. Huge tone and very punchy. The MM pickup is ceramic dual parallel coils and had a very aggressive growl. I enjoyed soloing the MM with a bass boost and a little P rolled in.

    Other features:

Top load or string thru body bridge
    35" scale
    Alder body
    Graphite rod reinforced neck
    Grover Mini Tuners

I am mainly looking to sell this bass. I will entertain trade offers for 5 string basses in near mint condition, preferably with maple boards, although not essential. Lakland 55-01's, Roscoe Beck, Ibanex ATK 800, Warwick Corvettes with Ovankol/wenge necks are some target basses. I will add in cash if needed. Do try anything though, any and all offers are appreciated.

I am pricing to sell while taking a fair loss at $625 OBO shipped in the lower 48. If you want it shipped in a new World Tour 20MM padded nice gig bag, add $25 bucks. Ships in the original Schecter box it arrived in otherwise. Thanks for looking.
