Putting up my Washburn AB-40SH - Stu Hamm Signature Acoustic Electric bass. Bass is in excellent condition and an overall fantastic instrument. Look, feel, fit, finish and tone on this are excellent. Thin body, very easy to play, and sounds great amplified. It is a thin bodied acoustic bass so it is quiet when unplugged.

Washburn AB40SH Stu Hamm Acoustic-Electric Bass Features:

    Arched spruce top
    Arched maple back
    Maple sides
    Mahogany neck
    Rosewood fretboard
    Custom Stu Hamm yin-yang inlays
    Multi-lam binding
    Intonatable monorail bridge
    Grover tuners
    Custom piezo electronics
    Buzz Feiten tuning system
    Includes GC44 case

I picked this up last year to support my acoustic side project and have loved playing it. The only ONLY (and I do mean ONLY) reason I am putting it up is that I finally landed a Martin acoustic bass.

$500 plus shipping (it's large and shipping is killing me). Will ship in the Custom Washburn GC44 case.

TRADES: I'm really on the hunt for a good 5 string but have just taken on a new project and could use a nice jazz. Strong preference for a Warwick or Fender. P bass also considered. I can add some cash if necessary.

Pics of the back of the headstock and neck and the tuning system on the body.

Again, the bass is in excellent condition.

I have a Washburn AB35 fretless It is basically that w/a different bookmatched back and one piece neck. Its a 5 string fretless and sounds really woody and clean amped but small unplugged. It is missing the retaining nut on the jack and I am going to find one today but it has an xlr plug in as well as the 1/4.This one may need strings

Thanks. Yes, it's a fantastic player and sounds great plugged in. I've been very happy with it. Again, only moving since I grabbed a nice Martin AEB (I live very close to Martin and have several friends that are gainfully employed there).
