Can't believe I'm putting this up, but...

-Sold pending funds- G.Gould 5 string #1134, Cocobolo over alder, Cocobolo fretboard. I replaced the special G.Gould EMG-X pickups with Bartolini dual coils (series/parrallel switch, vol must be centered for series, the two pickups are together in series, not each individually) and a Bart 3 ban preamp push/pull passive knob, but will include the original EMG-X (EMG-XDCs) set up. Almost no wear. My scale says 9.4 lbs, but I'm going to say 10lbs. 35 inch scale, 24 fret graphite neck, 1 7/8" at the nut, 19mm at the bridge, Hipshot tuners, Hipshot bridge. Ships in a generic hardshell case (not the one pictured). $1600 shipped via USPS Money Order. -Sold pending funds-

    G. Gould 4 string #1120 Alder body, 34 inch scale graphite neck, about 8lbs. 1-5/8" nut width, EMG 35P/ 35TW pickups, EMG 3-band preamp w/ sweepable mids and balance control - 18v. This is one of the best basses I've ever owned. There is a flaw in the finish under the control plate, has some very minor play wear. Come with a Roadrunner case. $1000 shipped (firm) via USPS Postal Money Order

GGi-5 is back up, and the GGi-4 is still for sale.

Hey, why did you change the pickups to Bartolini? Didn't you like the sound? How would you describe the sound of the bass?

The original EMG-X pup to me were too high-fi for what I was playing, great sound, but weren't punching through with the band I was playing in. The Barts brought out the natural midrange, even with the bart pre-amp, I ended up almost always playing in passive. In passive it has a nice fat sound, but doesn't get away from you on the low end.

Had several people PM me about the 4 string over the last few months, and I hesitated. But it is still for sale, so bump
    5 string is long gone.
