    $700 - Shipped CONUS

Up for sale is a Gibson Double Cut Les Paul Money bass in Manhattan Blue. I purchased this from TB member Pickles in 09/2008. It was built February 1, 2007 in Nashville, TN. As most of you know, this is a limited edition run bass and only 400 were built. There is an added layer of walnut between the mahogany and the subtle flamed maple cap. Pickups are TB+ Ceramic pickups. This bass has a great rock tone and is somewhat comparable to a Gibson Thunderbird but in my opinion is more comfortable to play and a bit more flexible. Zero neck dive, great balanced tone, tasty growl, and great access to the upper frets. This bass has a good amount of player's wear with dings and nicks but nothing that affects the integral structure of the bass. There is some belt buckle rash on the back and light scratches on the top. Notably as seen in one of the photos there are two particular dings which expose some of the finish on the backside. One by the electronics control plate and the other by the lower horn. There is one notable scratch on the flame top above the neck pickup but overall the scratches are difficult to notice unless you're up close. There is also a small chip by the bridge on the "G' string. I'm definitely trying to disclose everything on it. The truss rod cover has a piece of gaffer's tape because the truss rod has a "$" and I didn't care too much for it. Bass comes with the original hard-shell case and is in excellent condition with very little wear.

Not really interested in trades at the moment.

Great rock tone from these basses. I was thoroughly impressed with the sound of the one I heard a few weeks ago. Exact same model/color.

Yea, the Ceramic TB+ pickups have a really solid tone. I'm also not interested in trades but hey, I'll entertain any interesting offers.

Bump. Will be off to eBay at the end of this week if there isn't any interest. Lots of trade but I'm looking for a straight up sale.
