Hello, up for sale is a Hovercraft Andromeda Head.
It's serial number 17, with nickname "Ghost in the Headshell".

This amp is very cool and has a myriad of options to help you dial in exactly what you need to.

    This particular head has:
-dual KT88s with half power switch.
-global presence, treble, mids, bass on the front, and depth and modern/vintage controls on the back.
NOTE: The tone controls are also switchable from standard style TMB controls to baxandall style EQ controls. Each control can be independent....which is crazy flexible.
    - reverb, included footswitch allows to assign the reverb to a channel, or both.
    - clean channel has a single volume control.
-gain channel has vol, mid voice, and gain controls, along with 3 way bright switch, and "Feelth" control. The Feelth makes everything a bit more gainy and gritty.

I've never had any problem with the shared EQ, and always got the tones I like on both channels.

I've found with the gain down, you can get an AC/DC....possibly HiWatt style, quick attack crunchy tones. Punchy, raw, and sweet.

With the gain up and the controls set in different ways, you can get anything from tight crunch to old school stoner to classic rock to tight metal........and so on.
It's extremely flexible.....the controls help you dial in what ever shade of awesome you want.

The working condition is like new. controls, switches, features all work as they should.
Tubes probably have 20 hours on them.
The cosmetic overall is good. There are a few scuffs, nicks in the tolex, nothing major.

I'm asking $800 shipped to the lower 48. SOLD

The head comes with custom footswitch (has 3 way switch for channel assignable reverb), stereo footswitch cable that was included with the amp, and original box.

    Pics! (will post more tonight)
(kinda crappy pics, sorry. amp not yellowish, pure white)
