If I knew for sure that my (fragile, picky) Godin A4 would fit, I'd jump on this. You're too far away from me to try it out!

  4. My Lakland 55-02's fit they are 35in scale if that helps

The Godin has an overall length of 48", is 15" at its widest point, and the body is about 2.5" thick. The other bass that would go in there is quite normal in size and shape.

The interior depth is 5", so everything ought to fit, but it would be snug. Being a soft case, it has some flex in it, of course.

  7. Conklin sidewinder fits - I'd never put an a4 or a5 in a gigbag

Any idea if a Thunderbird will fit?

It will if it is 48" long or less.

Well, it's not just the length of the bass. It's the unconventionally-shaped body - particularly, the lower horn and the upper bout.

Do you have a photo of the interior?

  11. I just looked at a photo of a A4, I don't see any reason why it wouldn't fit. Do you own other basses? If so, if you held a more conventional bass over the godin how much does it stick out past the bass? If it isn't a lot, the bag has plenty of give and is roomy. If it is closer to a true acoustic body size, I believe they make an accoustic bag. You should check out iGiG's website I'm sure you would find your answers there.

    Peace
    Dave
