***I had this sold last week to emblymouse but I got cold feet...had to give it good run live to make sure I wanted to sell it. Now I'm sure that my Stingray is the sound I want. He has 1st right of refusal on it.***

There is no active/passive switch but the audere set flat is virtually passive.
I haven't heard back from emblymouse.

Never heard Audere. Can you give an idea of tone comparison?

It's a very natural sounding preamp.
The z mode can go from passive sounding to a very active sound.
It's very transparent and doesn't have its own color.

would you be interested in a Bassmods K6 bass with upgrades. Bartolini Quad coil and preamp. It also has coil tap switches for each pickup, and I upgraded the bridge to hipshot. I'm thinking of going back to playing a 5 or 4 string. Let me know if you're interested.
