2007. The pickups ARE chisonics; however, Lakland used their own pickup covers during the time this bass was made, so it doesn't have that classic chisonic look. Maybe someone here can speak to that a little? it's what the previous owner told me. When you plug in and play, there's no doubt that the pickups are chisonics.

The bass is in wonderful condition. It plays, feels, and sounds superb. Anybody who has played a Decade can vouch for this--it's tone options are nearly endless. I encourage you to check out the expansive library of sound clips on the Lakland website to hear some of the different sounds this bass has to offer. Will ship in a mediocre gig bag with a broken strap for $725.

They had hum issues with the metal surrounds and went all plastic for a while. My Skyline Glaub is from that first round of sonics and makes an unholy amount of noise in studio even beyond normal single coil hum.

    Thanks for the insight.

Yeah, no hum here with the plastic covers. But all the chisonic goodness in the sound!

Tons of interest in the trade offer department, but I'm really just looking to sell this one.

    Make an offer!

GREAT price on a great bass...these pickups sound GREAT.

I have 3 different sets of CHIs in 3 different basses and they are all great.

I hope it works out. As the former owner, I can vouch for what a great bass this is.
