For sale is a left handed SX Jazz Bass. It has the old headstock. The neck is very large so do not expect an Ibanez. It is a beautiful instrument, but I have 7 basses and am currently building my dream bass from parts.

The bad: Some scratches, but not noticeable unless up close.
One of the pots seems slightly bent, but again not noticeable.
It has a righty nut with a small chip on the wood behind the nut, but neither of these things affect the playability when strung left handed.

I don't know anything about sx basses but I'm considering it. I've been looking for a squire p. Can I see it without the covers?

It wouldn't be a stretch of the imagination to say that SX is a well respected name for budget basses on this forum and many people love them. Here is the "Essex Club" (SX is not searchable on TB)

I will take pictures sometime this morning/afternoon and post them for you.

I took some pictures without the covers. I want to note that the previous owner (or possibly me) had the bridge cover on too tight and it left a mark/indent at the edges. The marks are visible in the pictures next to the control plate between the bridge pickup and the pickguard and the other one is directly above that where the other edge of the cover would be. There is probably a way to get them out, but they aren't that bad. I can't tell if the holes for the bridge cover are that noticeable or they are just grabbing the light from the flash.
