It's not often that I sell bodies. But as I consider my build projects and my associated work schedule, I can tell that it will be quite some time before I ever get around to this and I don't like to collect stuff.

This is one of those really nice finds. Its a Maple Jazz body with a gloss finish. There is a flame grain on the sides of the body and pretty grain throughout. It is without question a polyurethane coating. When I received it, I found one small chip in the finish that I filled, sanded, buffed right away. So now it's ding and scratch free again.

I was told it was Fender and I didn't know what line of Fender made product this was, instead just focusing on the cut and quality of the body. Some of the folks below think this is the VM Squire.

Body weighs just over 5.75 pounds. That should not come as a surprise given the fact that this is a MAPLE body.

Now also with this body I have added an original aftermarket fender bridge, strap pins, the ground wire for the bridge and a non-fender pick guard (slightly used). These did not come with the body when I bought it. And I have no reason to throw in these items other than just deciding to do add some extra candy to the deal. That's another $40 in candy right there.

The price is $130 shipped and insured CONUS. Please no trade offers. Pay Pal accepted. Local pickups take $25 off of the asking price.

I am putting up some photos. I only have a few right now because my focus was only good on a few photos. But I will add more later.

    Thanks...

If that's not a Squier VM body, it sure is a dead ringer for one.

Okay guys. Thanks for the analysis. But this isn't a poll and we're not tallying votes. I'm just selling a body. Thank you....

I can guarantee you that's a Fender body. The Squier VMs have no routing cut between the neck pickup cavity and the control cavity. Fender MIMs do, though. Plus, Squier routes are much cleaner than Fender routes, with a nearly flawless surface internally. Beautiful piece of wood. Had I not already just purchased a fretless, I'd be jumping on this fella in a heartbeat. Best of luck with the sale, because you're offering a heck of a deal.
