There is nothing wrong with this amp, I love it, I am just purashed a GK 800rb. This amp is in very good condition with 2 newer JJ tesla 12ax7s. The only "problem" with this head, a common issue in the earlier heads was the dirty effects loop inputs. I sprayed contact cleaner in them both and run a patch cable through it and it works perfectly fine. Loud as hell!!!
This amp is very loud, but I just bought a GK 800RB so this has to go!

    $450 shipped CONUS/Lower 48 only
    shoot me a pm!

Awesome! The mesa walkabout is a great amp. Im just a plug and play kinda guy. I know the wattage difference for 4 ohms wont make too much of a difference, but I woukd like the the full 700 watts or so when running at 2 ohms.

I heard u can run the walkabout at 2 ohms, but I just dont want to risk harming a perfect amp. Thanks for the bump!

I checked the Walkabouts power output and it does around 485 W RMS at 2 ohms. I've also often run mine at 2 ohms with no issues.
