The MusicMan Big Al 4SSS is a very flexible bass. With three noise-free single pickup coils, selectable in any combination -- and an active/passive feature, this bass is the swiss army knife of bass guitars.

I bought this here on TB from smallequestrian, never took it out of the house, and am offering for resale. I'm downsizing (again) to just my Sadowsky Metro, which is amazingly similar in feel and playability to this Big Al. Both are white with maple boards, too.

This specimen is an early model made from alder for a very nice tone. Weight is 9.5 lbs. She is pearl white with a since discontinued orange swirl pickguard. Maple board.

I'll get pics up this weekend, in the meantime here is the original listing with lots of good photos:
    Big Al Pearl White 4SSS

Priced at $1100 shipped in MM case. REDUCED TO $1000.

Let's go $1000. Pretty good deal for a Big Al.

Agreed. I have a Sadowsky metro that is so similar. I like the big al just as much, but the Sadowsky mystique makes me reluctant to move that one out.
