    Thanks guys.

This pedal does sound great with bass; the two tone filters provide a nice range of tonal options as it varies the strength of different parts of the chorus/phasy/flangy sound on offer. The Thru output is useful for a number of things, such as stereo when running into two separate amps (or channels when recording) or as a dry signal to send to other effects that you do not want the chorus effect to run into. When I was trying out chorus pedals I tried a bunch of them and found this to have the most neutral tone on my basses and offered a great range of sounds without going overboard on controls or options that seemed less than useful for bass.

    Rainy Saturday bump

I guess this won't make it in time to be in a stocking or under a tree, but it still is a great pedal at a great price for somebody.
