Up for sale is an extremely unique Bruno Conqueror hollow body bass. I've only seen 2 or 3 of these for sale ever, and none have been like this (Bruno was one of many brand names manufactured in Japan in the 60s & 70s). She's now fretless, wears Fender tapewound strings, and is wired V-V-T (with a 3-way Switchcraft switch). The nut/zero fret width is 1 5/8", but it feels thinner (2" wide @ 12th fret), and the scale length is 30". There is no case or gig bag. This particular bass was bought by me as a project, and the following has been done since I've owned it:

    -completely strip paint/finish
-stain bass body, but maintain a "weathered" look
    -remove frets, fill fret slots
    -make a new bone nut
    -modify & install Hofner bridge
-make custom one-off pickup/switch/truss rod plates
    -install vintage Teisco pickups
-install CTS pots, Sprague cap, Switchcraft switch & jack, cloth push-back wire
    -install vintage-type open gear tuners
-install vintage NOS Dakaware bakelite knobs

    I'm asking $250/shipped OBO.

Not a fan of 30" scales but had to comment after reading and seeing the pics. Really cool restoration you did. Looks awesome. GLWTS.

The "if it had frets it would be on it's way to San Diego" bump.
