Up for grabs is candy apple red and maple Fender Precision Bass Special (MiM). It features lots of upgrades over the stock Fender parts, such as:

    • Schaller PBX / JBX pickups (not DiMarzio but a similar design made in Germany)
    • Gotoh 201 Bridge
    • Warmoth B/W/B Pickguard
    • Schaller Strap Locks
    • Preamp now running on 18Vdc (originally 9Vdc) for additional headroom
    • Series / Parallel coil switch for each pickup (J pickup is a side-by-side split-coil design)
    • Original Fender Pickups included.
    • Comes with a new Fender gig bag.

    Points of note:
One 3/16" diameter chip on the edge of the forearm contour down to the wood sealer. See pic. Some light scratches on pickguard and back of body that are barely noticable. The nut is not original, it was too low and has since been shimmed to the correct height. The midrange pot's center detente is a bit vague. Don't let any of this scare you, it really is a very nice bass and it looks stunning in person and sounds incredible.

Asking $525 shipped , open to offers: Available to CONUS only.
