Up for sale is this Gallien Krueger 700RB Mark II. I picked it up here a year or so ago and used it on a handful of gigs. I liked it but with two other GK heads I found this one to be too much for my needs. It is functionally great and cosmetically near great (ding on the top you can see in the 2nd pic). I am looking to get

    $300 shipped CONUS

I have been looking at old sleds like the peavey fire, nitro, and max basses that will provide the watts and loads I need for a cab building project, but this amp is interesting, if I change the setup, I think. I am almost finished with 1 2x10 400rms 4 ohms and plan to build another one and would need an amp like those mentioned that would handle that 2 ohm load and produce close enough to the power on each side. The 700 supplies two different loads through biamping? how much watts per side at what impedence? I think I could power the one 2x10 with one side and build a smaller cab for the other side. Do the sides handle different frequencies or is that adjustable? Any info appreciated. I'm searching online for more info also. Thanks

Or maybe you need a custom cab

    Axelrod,
Your private messages are full, but I don't think this is what you're looking for, as it will not handle a 2 ohm load.

Yeah, I think not, looks like a cool amp and a good deal, though. Thanks

I have one of these heads and don't think I'll ever sell it. Very powerful, great tonal variety. If it ever crapped out on me, I'd buy another in a heartbeat.
