This is a JohnK hand built Orange bass preamp. Excellent preamp with tons if volume and gain. Goes anywhere from clean and articulate to filthy beast mode. Absolutely beautiful work. Had hook side velcro on the back. I am the original owner and commissioned the build last year. I am asking less than what I paid, $285 shipped within CONUS. These aren't available in stores. This pedal does not care for OneSpot power supplies, so I will gladly include a supply that works beautifully with the pedal. Paypal preferred, tracked and shipped to CONUS via USPS. No trades please, I'm working to downsize a bit. Thanks for looking!

    Sounds from Johnk's website: https://soundcloud.com/johnk_10/orangepreamp-no2

John's description of the pedal: Orange Bass Preamp #2: This one is based on Paul Nelson's Orange preamp emulator. His design had an FAC control, but I prefer it more without it so I left it out. This one has absolutely NO low end loss (it can actually boost it) and is a much quieter circuit, but is capable of more gain and distortion. The controls are (L-R): Input Volume, Boost, Treble, Bass, and Master Volume. I absolutely love the sound of this preamp, which can go all the way from a clean and transparent boost to a super heavy overdrive/distortion pedal.

Wow, these are very rare. DirtyDuke has one, JohnK, there is this one, doubtful there are many more. FYI, JohnK lists this one in his top 10!

That thing would fit just right in the last hole on my board, if only I could sell a couple more pedals...
