It's confirmed…shoulder cannot take a 35in scale bass any longer.

    Spector NS-5H2

Buck Eye Burl Top with Walnut body Core & Birds Eye Maple Fingerboard.

    Aguilar OB3 Pre
    Bart Pickups (M45CBC)
    Abalone inlays
    Hipshot bridge
    Gold Hardware

Condition is 9.9 out of ten. Has one blemish and that is a dent the size of a small grain of rice. I tried to capture it in a pic.

I tried to get a pic of the walnut wood grain on the headstock but didn't capture it well. I will try and take better pics.

Comes with the nice model Spector case…also in great shape. Sound clip below. It is unmastered and bass is set even.

I played this bass with a 9 pc band and it cuts through the mix in med to large size clubs with ease. The woods balance the sound to give you a lot of possibilities throughout the electronics.

Cash sale is priced to move and set low at $2300. Trade value is higher. New, this bass was estimated over 6k so the trade value is 3k.

Shipping is Neg and depends on where you live. Con US only please.

Great guy to do business with. Always thought a Spector with Barts would be awesome.

That's why Warwick used 'em! :ninja:

Awesome bass. If I hadn't just picked up a Warwick SSI we'd be talking!

All PMs returned. Regarding any trades, unless it's an MTD 535 I really need a 34in or 33in scale. MTDs always feel 34 and comfy for some reason.

I've played both USA Spectors with EMGs and Barts and my humble opinion is that the Barts offered more tonal possibilities and range. In 2011 the Bartolini's were an upgrade.

I've had a few Spectors US and Euro with EMG's and I never liked the EMG tone. I've had EMG's in other basses, and they just aren't my thing. Barts on the other hand have always sounded good to my ears..

Good luck Adam. That's a beauty!! Hit any golf balls lately?
