For sale is my beautiful Koa/Mahogany MB2 (lined fretless) for $2,200 shipped in the lower 48. The price is firm and gig bag is included. This was my main player for years: unfortunately I developed tendinitis and now she just sits around looking forlorn. I bought it in 1997 from Jimmy Coppolo's when he owned and ran New York Guitar and Bass Boutique and it was still in the same building as Sadowsky. The top is a truly magnificent piece of book-matched Koa sitting on a mahogany body. Neck is stunning birds-eye maple with lined macassar ebony board, bridge and volume control. Sounds like a Rob Allen should and plays easy. It has what most would describe as a baseball bat neck, but she's easy and fast. This was my main player for years and there certainly is some wear. The main things I want to point out are that the binding is separating form the body in 3 places (see photo with red circles) which is an easy fix and the volume knob was replaced by Martin Keith least year when he changed the volume pot.
