I just bought this bass a couple days ago from TBer JOME77. It is in absolutely remarkable condition and exactly as described in this ad:

    http://www.talkbass.com/forum/f126/fs-roscoe-skb-3005-a-1044940/

I'm asking exactly what I paid for it: $2250 shipped in the lower 48 states. FOR SALE ONLY.

    Not interested in trades.

    Here are the details:

    Roscoe SKB 3005 Fretted
    - Ash body
    - Exhibition Quilt Maple top
    - Pau Ferro fingerboard
    - Gloss finish
    - Maple/purpleheart/maple neck
    - Roscoe Bart P/U's
    - Bart 3-band NTMB 18V Preamp
    - Black Hardware

Hey! You know where else you can buy an Exhibition Grade quilted maple Roscoe SKB 3005 for less than half the price of a new one??

That's absolutely correct...NOWHERE! Only here on TB!

Bump for a great Roscoe and a great TB'er to deal with!

The fact that Matt is selling this one has nothing to do with it not being a great Roscoe. The standard Roscoe tone is just not what Matt is into right now.
This is a killer sounding and playing Roscoe. The workmanship is absolutely perfect and it setup and plays like a dream! Super low buzz free action.

Buy this one and you won't be disappointed! :)

Jome is not kidding. This thing is awesome but just not the tone I have in my head.

I remember playing this one just a few weeks ago. It plays like a dream and is spotless. Just like new. :hyper:

Encouragement is all I can offer at this point (I already have two Roscoe fives at home). Three might just be considered one too many if you know what I mean. :eyebrow:

This is an awesome deal for someone looking for a fretted five.
