I purchased this amazing Sadowsky Metro RV5 LE [limited edition, ash body/"rosewood" (pau ferro)] fingerboard this fall. It was made in 2013 and is in absolutely perfect condition. I have a Mike Lull M4V which has the perfect tone for my current needs and would prefer to have my 5-string have a similar tone. This Metro plays wonderfully with very low action possible.

Below are some pictures of the bass taken from the store I purchased it from in October.

Asking $2250 or trade for equally pristine Lull M5V. I will ship the bass with the Sadowsky case in which it came. Would like to split shipping costs with buyer.

Rare bird right there. Save a grand or two over a NYC with the same wood combination.

Do you have any info on the weight?

String Spacing 18 or 19 mm?

    Thanks!

It's definitely a stunner. Looks amazing with the pau ferro fingerboard in person.

Holy crap! Really? Under 8lbs for a Metro (solid body) is SUPER light!!

    Wow, less than 8 lbs.
The pre-amps on these basses are wicked.

Previous deal fell through. The Sadowsky is back on the market. (**disclosure- re-weighed the bass and it's a touch under 9 lbs. sorry for the previous mistype)

I'm pretty sure all Metro's are 19mm stock. Have to order an NYC to get 18mm spacing. Bump for a gorgeous bass! I have a Will Lee with the ash/pau ferro combo and absolutely love the tone.

    VTC +.

Not too motivated to ship outside of the country, unfortunately.
