For Sale - Squire Precision V loaded body - Price Drop - $100 shipped

I rescued this bass from Bernunzio's Uptown Music last year. The first thing I did was take it to Nau Engineering (our renowned bass and amp tech) to get rid of the noise. He disappeared to his basement for 1/2 hour and came back with a with a triumphant look, holding a set of MEC pickups off his Warwick that fit perfectly! All the wiring, pots and jack was changed out at that time with new, US-made parts.

It has some finish damage from long ago but there are no cracks in the wood itself. I have no idea what happened, but think (or hope) it might have been in a fight. I made sure the damage photo was as detailed as possible - it looks way better in person. My plan was to sand the area and clear coat it, as it's not visible from the front. Our singer suggested the checkered duct tape stripe, and I don't argue with her because she lets me sing. It will peel off.

The whole bass was about 10.5 pounds, but I'm not too sure about the body alone. The pickups are passive.

Some nibbles, but she's still available. My analog bathroom scale says between 5-6 pounds. The electronics work on this is first rate. John Nau is our regional go-to in Western NY for all things bass and guitar related.

Make me an offer! I'm looking for a Lakland 55-60 or 55-64, on the odd chance anyone has one for sale and is also interested in this body. But stranger things have happened!
