Ok, I have one of the spirit basses that I bought for an '80s band I was in. It is in good shape - a few light scratches on the back. It has the d-tuner bridge AND has a pivot plate of my own construction . It is made of black tinted acrylic. This REALLY corrected the balance issues with this model.
Passive - Vol, Vol, Tone (it has a preamp in the photo) and includes the original gig bag and 3 original strap buttons.
    $350 shipped conus

    Pix to come

weighs in at around 7 1/4 lbs and the nut is 1 9/16".

Sorry for the bad pix - fingerprints on black....
The strap is held with chicago screws and washers. Works great!

I'll do $350 shipped CONUS. I'll keep the preamp for another build. It actually sounds better imo without it - fat and funky!

I'm digging the pivot plate! Just found another one that's on the way but I may have to spring on yours. Would love to know a bit more about the preamp situation. I have a 1988 XL-2A which Jeff Babicz did a complete overhaul on and I don't want to let it out of the house. We should talk...

Cool! The preamp is the 2 band stack knob emg (i forget the model!). The pivot works great! I found a good photo of the real thing, enlarged it to the correct dimension, and cut the shape out, so its pretty close to the real shape.
