:) I guess what I meant is everybody seems to go crazy over these pedals. Not so much hype...I tried them and discovered not my cup of tea.

Dang...if it wasn't Christmas I would be buying the sub. I loved mine, but got rid of it because the drummer in the band I was in had problems with it. (Oh did I say he was also the sound guy?).

If I had to choose between these two pedals I would choose the Submarine. The Cream Pie reminds me of a W&C Phat Phuk B. I just don't really have a need for a grindy boost at the moment.

I had a submarine.... the true swiss army knife of any pedalboard. Bump for a one of the "holly grail" pedals.

What does the submarine do that's so amazing? Will it fuzz out if you crank it?

It will make a MIM Jazz sound like an Alembic :) I love this pedal I waited three years to get one and every time one comes up I want to buy it I might have to snag this one as a backup it's one of my always on pedals and one that made the final cut for my board.
