Edit for Price - Having a quick search in the forums, $4000 + shipping seems fair.

For Sale: My pride and joy!

I've decided to let go of my much loved Trace Elliot V8.

I don't need to say much, you all know how rare etc.. this amp is.

Its been so long since I've lurked/played/been a full gear head so I'm not sure how much to put it up for!

It has been serviced about 1 month ago and has only ever been used on half power since I have owned it due to the high power output it has.

Its in good condition and sounds great!

    Wait a second... That's a funny, right?:D

I'm pretty sure these go for $4,500-$5,000.
If you actually see one for sale...

OK, I get it, that $850 comment WAS a joke... I'm gullible like that sometimes...:meh:

$4,000 ought to cover my plane ticket and travel expenses, and $853.

I'm too far away, and don't play out enough to make this worth my while, but hope that somebody will get this amazing piece of engineering excellence out in front of a crowd.

How many of these were made? Did any well-known bass players use them?

Sliderbass Dr. Bass, The best cabinet you'll NEVER own!

The records are long gone but apparently somewhere between 75-80 were built and even that's up for debate. Entwhistle had one but not sure if he used it. Sting supposedly had one but again, not sure if it's true or if his ever hit a stage.
