Just recently picked this up in a trade+cash deal for my NS-2J SE-1, as I've ALWAYS wanted a white Spector :bassist:

I absolutely LOVE tone, but the neck profiles of my NS-2 and Coda are too perfect for me, so I'll probably just have to do a custom spec white one with a similar neck :D

Priced to move at $900 shipped within North America, no shipping outside of North America, sorry. Not interested in trades unless it's another Spector, other trade ideas will be politely ignored ;)

This is a killer sounding bass, based on the venerable 1983 NS-2J. The bass features dual active EMG Jazz pickups and electronics, bolt on neck, brass nut, 1.65" nut width and Badass I chrome bridge. The neck is super smooth and fast, and it sounds like a jazz bass on steroids.

    Full specs are listed here:
    http://www.spectorguitars.com/models/woodstock-cr.html

The bass is in very good condition, with the only noticeable player wear being scratches on the neck plate, and a few dimples in the finish that do not go thru the poly finish. Overall condition: 9 out of 10.

The bass weighs 8 lbs 7 oz on my digital scale and is currently strung with new DR Hi-Beams.

The photos are from the original listing from a week or so ago which is why the bass looks to be wearing flats, I can send updated hi-rez photos to anyone interested.

    Cheers!

Absolutely. If it had the same neck profile as my Brooklyn there's no way it would be going anywhere ;)

Thanks for the kind words guys!

I have no doubt this bass will make someone VERY happy; as I already mentioned, if the neck profile was similar to the Brooklyn and Coda it would be in my stable for LIFE :bassist:

I actually like how it looks and sounds so much that I sent an email to PJ about doing a custom Euro build to that exact spec, the only trick will be getting them the chrome hardware ;)

Well damn...I used the bass for a rehearsal with a metal band last night, and I might just have to convince myself to live with the neck profile...'jazz bass on steroids' is really a perfect description, it growled like a grizzly bear through my B3K :bassist:

After spending more time with it, there's no way I should part with this thing...it really is a beastly sounding bass, I'm using it for another heavier gig at the House of Blues tonight :bassist:
