I have decided that my basses aren't get the playtime they deserve, so I am downsizing.

    Yamaha BB424 in vintage white.

Wonderful bass in great condition. Can be strung both bridge or through body at 45 degrees. 5 piece neck is very stable. There is a chip in the finishing next to control cavity cover (see picture). Looking for $245 shipped or local sale in San Diego for $220.

    Spec:
    34" scale
    Rosewood fretboard
    Alder body
    5 piece maple/nato neck
    P J pickup

Damn if this was a different color I'd be all over it. I've wanted to buy a BB424X but I don't like the pickguard/control plate.

I just traded a 424X, and I gotta say the playability and reliability on these are insane! I would have kept it in the stable but the need for a 5'er came up. GLWTS and someones gonna get a sweet deal here!

    I don't suppose you need a Fernandes 5er?
