For sale only and for a limited time (just until what I'm trying to buy is still available) my great playing, excellent conditions and awesome looking Zon Sonus Special. Made with an ash body and a fancy Bubinga top, which combination gives a natural compression according to Joe Zon, and a graphite neck with a phenowood fretboard. 8.6 lbs on my digital scale. Super straight neck, frets are excellent, everything works as it should.
The dots are stickers and are easily removable with no residues. Ships with its original Zon branded gig bag. Questions? Hurry up and PM me! Price is $1750 OBO ConUS, PayPal ok.

Being a '97 most likely not, but like I mentioned, neck is straight and you can set the action lower than you really need to.

Bump for an amazing TBer and one of the best basses around.
I would have considered this if it was a five strings!

So nice. Love my 4/2 but the Special pickup placement seems... special. Bump for the lovely Zon.

They are Special, in a way that they can slap your face so mean they are :D

    PM replied.
I had to pull it out of the bag to check the preamp upon request, this is always dangerous 'cause I usually give it a few minutes of playing time and I end up changing my mind about selling it. :meh: Damn money!!!
BUT, still for sale at the moment.

What's the control layout? I've seen a few different options on this model.

Was one of the controls added at some point? The placement looks a little unusual...

Nope, the bass was all original and pretty usual for a 'Special'.
I said WAS because the bass is now SOLD
