Early 1980's four-string Yamaha electric bass, made in Japan. Transparent red finish. Neck-through-body construction. A high-quality, beautiful instrument with good tone and playability. Reverse P-bass-style pickup, and J-bass-style pickup with custom ebony Willis ramp. A few minor dings and normal play wear on finish, but very good condition, especially for an instrument about 25 years old.

Comes with excellent hard case in great condition.

That's a 1000S, not a 1200S (the 1200S has one pickup and a switchable 3-band preamp). Cool bass, and yeah, aside from the ramp it appears to be stock. Also a good price - good luck!

I agree, it's a BB-1000S. Great bass but not the same as the BB-1200S which is active with a single reverse split pickup.

I have one of these. Wonderful bass. A removable ramp wouldn't worry me in the least.

Great bass! That price would have been nice for a BB1200 ;-)

You might have a little better luck if you change the misleading title, since anyone actually looking for a BB1000S won't necessarily realize that you're selling one.
