Great condition and a great player.

Pickups have been changed out for a pair of hum-canceling Aguilar J's. I don't have the original pickups. Otherwise completely stock.

Lots of punchy and warm vintage tone with great playability (low action) and no dead spots!

VERY comfortable weight at only 8 pounds 14 ounces. Not a 10 pound boat anchor like the newer ones.....

Dead quiet electronics, absolutely no issues! Ships with it's original TSA case.

    A true "working man's" 5 string bass.....

I just spent $300+ on it to make it perfect (receipt available)

Trade value $1,500.00 - This is a real sweet one!

My trade interests are varied. A trade plus cash deal would be well received. No EBMM or G&L basses. No 6 string basses! Love Sadowsky and Lull. 34" scale ONLY!

The right 4 or 5 string P bass might get my attention. Also love fretless 5 strings. Might even add cash if you had something I "really" wanted to try.

What 'cha got? PM me with any questions or offers.

You rarely see a natural Alder body, I like 'em.

So what changes did you make?

I swapped out the stock pickups for the Aguilars. I also had all the frets re-glued, milled and crowned. Then I had a full setup done. The bass plays great and sounds even better. It's also real pretty in person. Lot's of visual vintage warmth!

The deal I had lined up seems to have cooled off a bit so this beauty is still very much available.

Hit me up with some more trade ideas.....

Are tuning keys inline or a 4 and 1 layout?
Sorry, can't open Pix at work.
Can you describe the 4 pots?
Is the body alder or Ash.
    Most J's are ash eh?

    Tuning keys 4/1
Controls are Volume, Blend, Stacked Treble/Bass and Midrange
I am not certain what the body wood is. It's light so it could be ash although it looks like Alder.
