My hope is to allure a US Lakland 5 string, that being said throw me your 5 string trade options; I'm not looking to trade down though. I also reserve the right to come to my senses and keep this stunner!

Up on the block is the very recently acquired 2008 LE Sterling 5HH. Pictures are worth more than words, and especially so in this scenario.

I spoke with a representative at Ernie Ball and his summary was this: "We don't give out production numbers, but I would estimate that no more than 50 of these were made"

Given that I have seen the 2008 LE in 4H and 4HS configurations, and also ones with rosewood boards, I would further estimate that there are less than 10 of this exact bass available.

In addition to the amazing paint job on this bass, the bass was sold with a custom hard shell case: faux lizard skin exterior and orange crush interior.

I would like to keep the trade in the lower 48.

The only partial trade I would accept is a 2006 Warwick Thumb Dirty Blonde LE, and that would require cash on your end.

Awesome, get this from Jeff? Also, i think the dirty blondes are rare and sometimes go for $1800 and up.

The last several on TalkBass have gone for $1300-$1400. I know, I missed each one... :-(

    Oh, and yes.

I had a bongo with this finish. Pictures do it no justice! Most beautiful finish there is IMO

Ah, this bass is worth more than that! I'd love a dirty blonde as well, very hard to find. I almost got this bass from Jeff as well.

    Should be gone soon! Glwts!
