I got this bass from Tom7 a few months back, and it is a phenomenal bass, but I have discovered, yet again, that I'm an ash maple guy at heart. So I'm reluctantly putting out the trade feeler for now to see if anyone has an ash/maple VF5 or a similar ash/maple jazz style bass to trade.

This bass is MINT, comes with the Levy's 'F bass' Bag, includes chrome pickup cover, F bass plexiglass ramp, ships with DR Nickel Lo Riders.

    Trade has to be for:

    34" scale
    ash/maple
    jazz pickups
    fretted

Not for outright sale at this time, and not looking for any other types of basses, so I probably wont respond to inquiries about either. Please don't be offended.

Same here Jake, Maple and Ash is the wood combo I constantly gravitate towards, but that is a sick looking F!

Thanks guys, it's really a spectacular bass, and I hate to let it go, but I'm not fortunate enough to be able to keep it and pick up another bass, so it'll have to go to another good home.

I've got about 2600 into it, so about that's where I'd place the trade value.

Hi, are the pickups 60's or 70's position? I have an ash maple vf5 with 70's spacing....
