    Update: added FS price.

I'm not entirely sure I even want to trade this. All I know is it just sits in the case and someone should be gigging with this beauty! I've only ever used it for my theatre gigs as I'm too timid to take it out to regular gigs.

This is the exact bass pictured here. It's got the roasted maple, Ball Family Reserve neck, ebony fretboard, and the black finish has some light gold metal flake in it. It is surely gorgeous!

I'm basically just seeing what is out there that someone would be interested in giving up for the Musicman Reflex. As far as I last knew, there wasn't another with this neck/finish/pickup combo. (This was verified in this thread by the original owner)

I'm now adding a for sale price as I was asked quite a few times for a sale price while it's been up for trade.

I'm letting her go at $1800 Shipped CONUS.

I'd still prefer a cool trade, but I suppose this way I can just buy what I want

Please contact me with any questions or offers. Mostly looking for a 5, unless it's a 4 I just cannot live without.

What a wonderful response to this post. I've had so many amazing offers.
To help answer many questions I've gotten.

I'm looking to trade for a bass.
I prefer 5's , but still interested in 4's as well. I enjoy unique looking, versatile basses most, but a classic looking jazz is a classic for a reason. I'm not exactly sure what I'm looking for but when I see it I'll know its the one! The more I think of it the more I think first on my list is is a 5'r for solo/lead work strung E-C. So please continue to share with me your trade offers.

As far as the weight, I'm out of town right now. Unofficially its near 10lbs. I'll weigh it myself when I get back to it.

Please feel free to ask me anything further.

Ahh - one of the best basses on TB that just can't get a regular gig. Living across the Pacific Ocean sucks when basses like this come up. Good luck with the sale!

    Wonderful neck BTW.

For me its simply too nice to justify not being THE bass and I don't want to screw it up in a bar is all.

Can't say I don't miss that bass, but whoever ends up with it is going to enjoy it. It really is a great sounding bass.

And you're right, Exemonium, this is the only one in the world in this configuration. A very unique piece.

Which is my #1 reservation in selling it. It's just so unique. Well that and it plays like butter!

Still not gone, but getting closer! Not too late yet. I'd be willing to add cash for just the right bass! Not a lot... but some ;)

I borrowed a bass for an impromptu band practice tonight. Now I'm pretty positive I'd prefer a 5 string. The 4 just didn't cut it for me.
