FT/FS: Roscoe Century Signature 5

    I recently got this excellent example of a Roscoe Century Sig, but find myself wanting a J bass these days.

    Spansh Cedar body
    Spalted Quilt Maple top
    Natural finish (red back)
    Maple/purpleheart wedge neck
    Exhibition Cocobolo fingerboard
    Nordstrand Dual Coil pickups
    Roscoe Hardshell case or Roscoe gigbag

    The preamp was a 4 band Audere 3ZB which I changed to a Bartolini NTBT with a passive tone control and active/passive switch. I would gladly include either preamp or both if you wish.

    Bathroom scale weight puts it at 9.1 lbs which agrees with previous owners' weight measurements.

    Sale price is $2500 shipped in Canada/US OBO

    For trades I'm looking for a high end J (Lull M5V is my first choice, but 4/5 string Lull, Sadowsky, etc. considered) +/- cash depending.

    Bump for a great TB'er and Roscoehead ....... Even though he's looking to replace it with a Lull or Sadowsky!:D

    Thanks guys. I've still got a few Roscoes that are not going anywhere. Just looking to scratch a different itch at this time.

    Thanks, but I will pass on the UV70. I prefer the undersized bodies and no blocks...

    Two or three piece body (excluding the top)? Beautiful bass.

    I hear you Clint! As good as the other flavors of Roscoe's sound, in the end, nothing makes me smile as much as playing my traditonal sounding Koa/mahogany LG-3005 with Roscoe Barts.

    Bump for a beautiful bass and great TB'er to deal with!
