I recently got this excellent example of a Roscoe Century Sig, but find myself wanting a J bass these days.

    Spansh Cedar body
    Spalted Quilt Maple top
    Natural finish (red back)
    Maple/purpleheart wedge neck
    Exhibition Cocobolo fingerboard
    Nordstrand Dual Coil pickups
Roscoe Hardshell case or Roscoe gigbag

The preamp was a 4 band Audere 3ZB which I changed to a Bartolini NTBT with a passive tone control and active/passive switch. I would gladly include either preamp or both if you wish.

Bathroom scale weight puts it at 9.1 lbs which agrees with previous owners' weight measurements.

Sale price is $2500 shipped in Canada/US OBO

For trades I'm looking for a high end J (Lull M5V is my first choice, but 4/5 string Lull, Sadowsky, etc. considered) +/- cash depending.

Thanks guys. I've still got a few Roscoes that are not going anywhere. Just looking to scratch a different itch at this time.

Thanks, but I will pass on the UV70. I prefer the undersized bodies and no blocks...

I have been thinking about returning to the original Roscoe tone.

I hear you Clint! As good as the other flavors of Roscoe's sound, in the end, nothing makes me smile as much as playing my traditonal sounding Koa/mahogany LG-3005 with Roscoe Barts.

Bump for a beautiful bass and great TB'er to deal with!
