Here is a 83/84 Ibanez Musician MC924 in a rare "Metallic Black" color.. You can find the "Dark Stain & Pearl White", but the Metallic Black is a bit harder to find. This bass is in really nice condition, all controls work perfect, gold hardware, neck-thru. Bass plays and sound really good. Comes with OHSC.

Vol, Blend, 3 band EQ, Tone Presence, Active/Passive switch

    Looking for trade offers first......????

    Cool.
I had a "Polar White" (Ibanez' official color designation) as my main bass 30 years ago. Miss it.
I don't think I was ever aware they had a Metallic Black (Polar Black?, Black Ice? :p ;) ) version.

    Bump for a great bass.

This the exact bass, my first great bass I purchased at GC back in the early 80's. The paint color, if I'm not mistaken was called Metallic Charcoal Black. It's an Ibby's take on the Alembic and it played like butter. What also cool, it has an active by-pas with tone control. Cool.

    Bump ya! :)

Do you have clearer pics? Hard to tell, but is it missing a knob?

    Hey pedullamvp5,

Would love to take this off your hands. See anything interesting?

    2- BFM Jack 1x12's
    1- EA iAmp 350
    1- ART Tube Channel Pre-amp/Compressor/EQ
    1- Jay Turser 4-string MM copy w/Naimishbridge*
1- Rackable Furman power strip w/lights
1- 5-string Naimishbridge**, 18mm spacing, Nickel finish, top load
    1- DigiTech BP-50 multi FX
1- ART Tube MP Series Pre

Here is a link to some pix.

The QSC, the Fender Jag, and the Godin in the pix are all gone.

*Would be very hard pressed to let this go. Was lucky to have one last base plate designed to retro-fit a Music Man 4-string and didn't even realize until after I bought the Bass. It's the last 4-string Naimishbridge I'm likely to ever own.

**This is just as likely to be the last new, unused 5-string Naimishbridge we'll ever see.

Thanks for your time, my friend.

    GLWTT,
    Rick
