FTO: '06 Gibson SG with Hipshot Ultralites

Discussion in 'For Sale: Bass Guitars' started by adamafurious, Feb 4, 2014.

  1. Hi TB,
I have, for trade only, a 2006 Gibson SG Bass Reissue. It has been upgraded with Hipshot Ultralites, which help balance this bass out very nicely. It is sporting Rotosound Tru Bass 88 black nylons, which sound awesome on these EB/SGs. I will also include the original Grover tuners if you like.

The bass is in very decent shape. It is definitely a player and has a few dings in the right hand thumb area/upper horn, one ding on the top of the headstock, and some shallow rash on the belt buckle. All of which I have pictured to my best ability, but honestly, they aren't that bad and in no way effect the sound.

OHS TKL Gibson USA case is included. The combination lock is disabled, but works as a latch. It's got some dings and scuffs, but it does the job.

I love this bass and it has been my main player for the past three years. Only trading because I need a different sound for my current project and don't have the cash to keep this one.

I am interested in Jazz basses. 4-string, fretted, passive, and CIJ/MIA only please. I'll consider custom builds with quality components (i.e. warmoth, allparts, etc)
Also entertaining offers for cool bass synth keyboards.
    Show me what you've got!
Any questions, please let me know.

    Short scale? Right?
  7. Now accepting cash offers, but would still prefer a jazz.
